ORTHOPAEDICS AND TRAUMA:

The trauma unit was started and nurtured by Prof. Marthandam for 20 yrs and since his retirement,the service is now being lead by Dr. Mohan Kumar. Road traffic accidents, Polytrauma, fractures are all being treated routinely here.

The Department has completed 100 successful Joint replacements over the past 5 yrs. Dedicated staff who provide 24X7 cover have made the department a very busy one.
